Calm, Fervour

I walk her to the subway wherefrom she came. I was only going out to get some air... only going out to come back in. 
Great large murky puddles fill this road,
Great large blue skies fill the dome above, 
I whistle the tune to a loney, dear song. 
Life is beautiful. 

Oh, why have you not understood that all happiness is a chance encounter and at every moment stands beside you like a beggar by the roadside.

I might be wrong but I vaguely remember Emil and co. playing this tune at their Canadian premiere.

Sometimes it takes a showing of Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain for me to remember that life is beautiful again.

I have yet to see Amelie. Back in Helsinki, the lower level french dudes got to see it.. and they hated it because they were philistines. In higher french we read voltaire and watched La Haine.
